Question: What is this summer’s best-selling product?

“I can confirm that for summer 2022, among the most successful products, we have not just a single product, but an entire line, that of Saclà sauces in the food service channel in the 740ML Squeezy format. We have expanded our food service offer, developing a line of sauces that can encapsulate flavours from all over the world, catering for any palate. In particular, mayonnaise, ketchup, barbecue sauce and guacamole sauce are enjoying great success. They are perfect to make even the most classic recipes tasty and add that extra touch to moments of sharing with friends and family, which, especially in summer, are an absolute must."

Question: Let’s talk about sustainability: a best practice at Saclà

"For several years now, Saclà has been pursuing important “sustainable” best practices that reflect its commitment to inspiring positive models of living, focused on the well-being of people and the health of the planet. From the new industrial facility in Castello Di Annone, a former abandoned industrial area to which we have given not only new life but also a green makeover with a low environmental impact, to the campaign created in partnership with LifeGate, which has enabled us to safeguard 1 million square metres of Amazon rainforest for a year. I could also mention the #ImercoledìAntispreco [#antiwasteWednesdays] project, intended to raise awareness of food waste in partnership with Banco Alimentare, thanks to which we were able to achieve the ambitious goal of donating 150,000 meals to people in need. Then, Saclà voluntarily adheres to the EMS (Environmental Management System) protocol, a system for validating the continuous improvement of the environmental performance of member organisations through regulations and regular environmental management assessments.
Finally, our active green projects are L'Orto sul Terrazzo, a project that relates to creative reuse, and the special Olive Snocciolate duo package currently on the market, which, through its cute characters Dragolì and Dragolà, raises awareness among children on important environmental, social and economic sustainability issues."
