La Punta Expendio de Agave
La Punta is a project started in 2014 by Roberto Artusio (The Jerry Thomas Project - Rome) and Cristian Bugiada (Freni & Frizioni - Rome), which was later on joined by Claudio Sblano, focused on the promotion and diffusion of Mexican culture at 360°. In 2016 they opened La Punta Expendio de Agave, a cocktail bar where they offer a wide selection of Mexican agave spirits and original street food.
During these years they launched several projects and consolidated a bridge made up of relationships, collaborations and study between Italy and Mexico.

CRISTIAN BUGIADA
Cristian Bugiada, Sicilian mixologist based in Rome, co-owns Freni e Frizioni and founded La Punta Expendio de Agave in 2016, a landmark for Mexican spirits enthusiasts. His passion for agave led to explorations in Mexico and earned him the title of World Ambassador of Mezcal in 2018. In 2023, he created a documentary on Mexican culture and launched Agavesito, the first agave syrup for mixology, alongside the low/no ABV-focused La Cola. As a creative and entrepreneur, Cristian continues to innovate in the industry.
